Hormones play an incredibly significant role in whether a body stores fat or burns fat. Whether I feel great or I feel blah. Whether I have energy or if I feel tired. The list goes on and on.

I have spent most my life dieting. Sadly, I have done it hard way too many times. I wish I had of known then what I know now.

THE HARD WAY.
When hormones are out of balance and my metabolism was slow, losing weight whilst remaining healthy and trying to feel great was very slow and a very hard journey. At times, no matter how hard I tried, I simply got no results.

Carbohydrates were cut, calories were low and I exhausted myself with excessive cardio….. All to no avail!

THE EASY WAY.
Quite simply, fat loss really does favour a fast metabolism, balanced hormones and good health.

It was all getting too hard, too exhausting both mentally and physically.

So I finally decided to listen to my body, focused on balancing my hormones, worked on improving my metabolism, health and reducing stress. I had more rest, I slept more and I ate MORE food. Yes…you heard right…. MORE pro-thyroid nourishing nutrient dense food. I was no longer hungry, I no longer experienced cravings and I no longer obsessed over food. I was supplying my body with all the essential nutrients it needed. I ate natural sugars, I ate carbohydrates, I ate fruit, cheese and even quality chocolate. I focused on weight training and stopped cardio.

This was when I began my research and work with nutritional endocrinologists. I realized that the journey to a leaner, more energised body could actually be enjoyable, healthy and a lifestyle that is easily maintained.
